Hi I am barn. joined to learn how to tune a 5.3 from a 04 silverrado. It now lives in a 69 firebird. This project is a long time coming. bougth it in 85 when I was young. had a BBC and 4 speed in it . now want a modern driver . Ls will be fine stock
and will not have to buy special gas. Using t400 behind it. I left the 12bolt in that I stuck in 30 years ago.
Is the 5.3 a Drive by Wire (DBW) engine?

Yes it is. got it all from a junk yard. Harnesses, computer,tach module and pedal.
