Hi guys I have a new crate L31 that I am trying to wake up. It is stock except for long tube headers. I would like to have a tune and possibly a new exhaust but know very little about technology. Please help...

The 98 K1500 uses a "Flash" computer.

One DIY option for Tuning the 98 K1500 is software / hardware from HP Tuners https://www.hptuners.com/

Another option is to have your 98 K1500 computer "Flashed" by a company like Black Bear Performance: http://www.blackbearperformance.com/
