    454 / 700r4

Since I am finally getting around to loosing the add on B&M lockup control on my S10 Blazer , I would like to control lockup of the 700R4 with the PCM.

I have been running the '7427 for a few years in the truck with the BJKW .bin but have used the add on control to handle the lockup and never tried it with the PCM.

    Lots of questions:

Using that PCM and that .bin (which is a 454/4L80E .bin) , is there a easy way to use just a TCC control for my 700R4 so I can loose the add on B&M unit?

What flags and / or settings will I need to change and where would the TCC output control pin out ? Where would the lockup settings be in Tunerpro if this is possible?

Will I need to wire a DRAC for a TCC only ? Or will the 2000ppm input that I have been using be acceptable ?

    Thanks for the help

From what I have heard, you can just zero out the individual shift points, and just keep the TCC lockup speed in the bin., and it should work.

If you are running $0E there is a flag at $400F, bit 6, that is for "TCC only", set that one.
Also make sure $400F bit 7 "Manual Transmission" is not set.
I would think that the 2K input should work. The 40PPR from the DRAC in a 4L80E app in used to control the shift points.
You really don't need to zero out any of the shift point data, when you select "TCC only" it should just ignore them.
If you haven't yet, grab 93V8S10's TP5 files and read parameter comments, they will explain it.

There is a section of code just for the 700R4. Just set the flags as necessary (see xdf), and set the 700R4 parameters as needed.

Use E11 for the TCC solenoid and power from the brake switch should be wired to E13.

The 2000ppm input will be fine.
