I have a 2010 LV3 that I swapped into my '95 pathfinder. Got it running like a top and now I'm trying to get the A/C working. The issue is there is no pinout on the PCM to tell it to engage the A/C compressor clutch. I believe it would normally get this signal from another module on the canbus and the signal is digital. What I have been trying to do is figure out how to mimic that signal on the canbus. Obviously this is not a simple task and there will be some programing, but I am wondering if anyone else has accomplished or even tried this? Or any leads on an aftermarket solution. I know that its possible to hack the canbus and feed it data.

The easy solution here, I am ignoring for now, is to create an isolated system that operates independently from the PCM. But this isn't as elegant and it would be nice to have the PCM take care of the whole situation the way its designed to. I know that the engine will recover at idle from the load as it does for the power steering, but once again just nicer to let the PCM handle the A/C timing.

Any thoughts?
