    chrome os, linux

    I am new to this forum but frequent many lt1 forums.
    I am wondering if anyone has been able to or tried to run eehack and or tunerpro on the chromebook with chrome os operating system?

    eehack runs on linux, i wrote it to be cross platform, but you have to build it yourself from source with QT. this is really easy to do for a new user, no need to learn any programming language, simply install QT with QT creator, then load the eehack source into QT creator and hit 'run'.

    tunerpro will run on wine which runs on linux no problem, done it tons of times myself. the installer glitches out or appears to but the install does succeed and run.

    as far as inside chromebook's linux container thing? no idea. give it a shot and report back. otherwise get a throwaway laptop and install real linux on it
