    Beginner DIY Tuner

Hello, 1994 3500 GMC Van. GM Performance 5.7 with vortec heads roller cam. Bored out throttle body and upgraded fuel system. 18 PSI regulaor. Doing a 4x4 conversion with Dana 60 up front. Motor is not in van yet, but plan on tuning myself with tuner pro RT.

    Hello,

Welcome to the forum. I've always enjoyed seeing well executed 4X4 van conversions. Did you change the cam along with the heads? Even with the stock cam you will notice the difference.

Thanks for the welcome! No it is a GM crate motor so just left cam alone. Vortec heads, roller cam and 4 bolt mains for 1800 i thought that pretty good deal. Project is taking a lot longer than i planned but that is normal. When i get closer to starting motor will see if dave w. will do tune for me. I want to do as much as i can myself, but getting an experienced tuner to do the tune probably best way to go. Ton of info on this forum, have been learning a lot just trolling around.
