what flash / read program do I need to use tunerpro 99 vortec 5.7 4l60e?

Hi guys!
going to pull the trigger on a 99 vortec 5.7 / 4l60 / 241 swap on a 99 jeep. anyways still learning on efi mods, and this is a stock build, but I want to disable security, and I will be using a manual transfer case, where as the donor had an auto push button shift. also it has the later "big head key" with the encoded lock cylinder, or at least I think. not the earlier little square head key with a resistor in the key itself. first off do I need to flash those parameters out on the ecu? and if I do, whats out there for free / cheap interfaces to grab and flash the tune?
