What make, model, year, engine used the 12227730?

Well the question is fairly simple. When scouring the boneyards, what make model, year and engine used the 1227730 ECM? Also just looking for the 1227730 form factor, not the 1227727.

umm, lot of stuff really...

popular applications would be the TPI V8 and V6 90-92 F-bodies, but here is a short summary via Ludis.

1987 2.0 L4 TBI “1” LL8
1988 2.0 L4 TBI “1” LL8 (early)
1987-89 2.8 V6 PFI “W” LB6 (exc. “W” body)
1988-94 3.1 V6 PFI “T” LH0 (exc. “W” body)
1990-92 5.0 V8 TPI “F” LB9
1990-92 5.7 V8 TPI “8” L98 (“F” body)

easiest ones to find would be a J/L body with a 2.8/3.1 i would think.

Yeah, it would almost be easier to list the cars that didn't use the '7730.

There are also a couple "replacement" numbers that are a '7730 internally, those include: 16196344 and 16198262.
