Cool Hello! "New" old hot rodder from Idaho

Hi guys, I'm a newbie here. I've been around hot rodding all my life, but I'm a carb and points kinda guy! lol Actually my current project has two carbs and a Vertex mag.

Anyway...my 94' K1500 is getting a motor swap, and since in all my years of working on stuff I haven't learned when to just leave things alone!, I'm gonna change some things up a bit. I don't want to think about trying to burn my own chips, but I will need some tuning, probably. Lazy? Some would say so. But, I have a lot of unfinished projects fellas. I just wanna get my ol' pickemup running so I can trailer cars to the track.

Hope some of you might be able to help me out, and I'm looking forward to being here!
