Need a bit of help refreshing memory on 93LT-1 Chip

It's been awhile since I broke out the Moates Flash and Burn to attempt to help out a guy with a 1993 LT-1 Camaro Service No 16159278 BDZJ. It's basically a best guess tune / mail type tune for him to get a base/ start up. It's a stock bottom end car with 230/236 .510/.520 110LSA with 30# injectors. Headers and a small stall. It has 4.10 gears and 245/35/20 wheel/tire combo. I'm used to tuning the 94 up Lt-1's ,but have a few questions about the 93 and chip burning, since it's been a long time and I have limited experience. The transmission is the 700r4 from my understanding and seems to only have lock / unlock setting controlled by the pcm? Is their anything in the tune I need to anything else I need to adjust for the gear/tires? It appears I can't correct the speedo via tune, is this correct? How does he correct for the speedo, tail housing gears or something like Dakota digital box and does this impact speed limiter and lock up settings? Any other trip points that may be helpful when dealing with these chips would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Steve

Attached is a stock 93 LT1 chip I recently read. Perhaps using the compare feature in TunerPro will help identify the changes to the chip you have?

I'm actually using Tuner Cat for this chip. My real questions are about what impacts does the chip have on the transmission and speedometer, if any at all. I'm thinking other than converter lock up, it has none, but I'd like someone to reassure me that this is the case. I know the tune has speed limiters, but I think it uses the VSS. Just wanting to know how to adjust speedo for gear and tire changes if we cannot do it with the chip. Do we do it with tail housing gears or with something like a Dakota Digital converter? Was hoping to get someone with a 93 camaro or experience with these tunes or modifications. Thanks for your input!

    Dave,
I have the .bin file, actually several for the 93 Camaro, but still trying to get clarity on the relationship between the chip, transmission, and speedometer. Thanks for your input.

I'm using TunerPro DA2. See attached pic.

Perhaps TunerCats has VSS parameters defined, similar to the ones in the pic?

DA2 is not a popular definition, so VSS parameters might or might not be defined?

The DA2 is very close to the DA3 I'm working with. Here's a picture of most of the VSS related items in Tuner Cat. Other than these, there's only the converter lock up/ release .
