    T converter ?

Will a higher stall converter help with Idle surging? What I have is a cam that may be a little to big and I have lower than what it should be as far as vacuum at Idle in gear..In park its fine. It’s a 383 with a 4L60E trans with a 454 2” TBI.
What is the stock converter stall?.Thanks

Post up your bin. You may need to increase/decrease fueling - or change your fueling corrections. When i had issues with idle it was my computer trying too hard to correct fueling in closed loop. I adjusted my O2 swing points, RPM overspeed/underspeed corrections, and correction gains.
