    Lt1 94 checksum correction

Hello everyone, I have a lt1 94 trans am and recently I bought an aldl cable and installed eehack and tunerpro, in the same way I generate a file tuned from fbodytech but in the instructions it tells me to set the correct checksum and save the bin, I have no idea how to do that and I also do not know what the correct checksum is.

If someone could help me with this I would really appreciate it, since I do not want my ecu to be blocked or something

Just load it into tunerpro and resave it back out.

Tunerpro should calculate the checksum when it saves the .bin file.

what instructions tell you that? any modern tool that works with $ee bins should set the checksum for you.

the fbodytech tuned file came with this text:

This bin is provided with no warranty. Here's what I've done:

    ** Selected 16210011, 1994 automatic base calibration
    ** Performed EGR Delete procedure.
    ** Disabled VATS
    ** Performed AIR Delete procedure.
    ** Performed traction control disable
    ** Performed AC delete
    ** Performed CCP Delete
    ** Configured for 4.10 gears
** Set auto transmission VSS type
** Tuning o2s for longtube headers
    ** Lowered fan turn-on points
** Tweaked wide open throttle tuning
** Set slightly rich o2 configuration.
    ** Applied aggressive timing table
** Configured improved idle for mild cam
** Set the correct checksums and saved the bin, done deal!

and the tool is red devil river aldl usb
