    PE Delay Question

    Hi all,

Got my truck tuned nicely but have one small problem. at low speed when you step on the gas hard there is a small delay in response from the engine (about 1.5 seconds) then it powers up and launches. The question is the PE delay is set at 15 seconds, would reducing this time have any effect on the response time?

    Cheers Keith

Try setting PE delay to ZERO Seconds and see what happens. I've programmed several chips with ZERO Seconds PE delay.

Well I zeroed out the delay and tested the engine, It still has the slight delay but looking at the AE settings now as this is like the pump in a carb. I have a Holley throttle body so I am guessing the larger bores require a bit more pulse from the injectors when you stab the pedal.

Guys I have a quick question, Does lowering the valves in the AE vs map and tps increase or decrease the fuel delivery?
