    #747 ECM-383 MPFI-conversion

    I need some help getting started with TunerPro RT, Dynamic EFI EBL Flash ECM w/MPFI conversion. I have a 90 GMC Jimmy, 383 (6.2) with Edelbrock 3502 MPFI conversion, Mild to Moderate Comp Cams hyd Roller, .480 L .480 D, 1500-5500 power band. Starts and runs okay on the stock ECM and the provided Edelbrock prom. Injectors provided were 19#ph, changed to 29#ph. Calculator suggests 160 on the EBL fuel table. Has anyone dealt with similar set up? does anyone have some files for a similar set up? Any suggestions? Engine sounds strong but it is running fat, need to dial it in and I have no tuning experience. Just starting my tuning. #1227747 ECM

    So let me understand what you have, a Dynamic EFI EBL modified 1227747 computer?

    Hello DaveW- will call early this week.

    Jim:
    1/ You must be missing a big part of the puzzle- EBL has many different startup tunes at your disposal.
    2/ Thirdgen.org is a pretty good resource with lots of EBL users.
    3/ Mr Rauscher is very good with helping out as well.
    4/ Get a WB O2 hooked up (this should be #1).
    5/ Those Edelbrock systems were pretty neat- wish I had the EBL back then.

    Yes, I probably am missing parts of the puzzle. I have not yet connected the ELB to the vehicle. Do you mean that the ELB has several files already installed?
    Thanks for the resource references
    I will have a wide-band O2 available to monitor A/F ratio while tuning and an experienced friend to help.
    Yes, the Edelbrock seems to work well, engine started right up and runs strong, just needs tweaking. I hope the ELB will take care of it.
