Flash2, probably best bang for buck, Robert has several bins that may be close to what you have, budget WB O2- BUT steep learning curve. Next vehicle remains stock for me.

Yes, I'm familiar with Dynamic EFI EBL. The challenge is Dynamic EFI requests "do not post EBL on public boards".

There you go....I didn't recall seeing that item.
Anyway you tried to help me awhile back and it was appreciated- I would like to think I'm a little further along now. I don't enjoy tuning it's just where I'm at now....tried buying the expertise but the tuners these days aren't familiar with older hardware and I don't have the funds to educate them. I would like to invite you to help straighten me out with some suggestions at:

    https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/diy-...ml#post6250212 or pehaps by email.

Don't mean to hijack this thread- but I'm offering Thirdgen as a good resource for tuning as well.

    Regards, Dave F

    Read the current chip.

    Test drive / Data log

Crunch the data log (Excel is a good tool to crunch a data log)

Make corrections to chip (most members use software TunerPro or TunerCats)

    Burn a new chip

    Rinse and Repeat until tuned

You need to control the transmission so Dynamic EFI/EBL is out unless you want to bastardize together a dual PCM setup.

    I personally wouldn't recommend TBIChips.

Dave W is amazing here and tries to selflessly answer any questions he can without mentioning that he could just do the tuning, but he could help with it if you do care to employ him.

Best results would occur if you were willing to have a laptop and get the PCM setup with the hardware to do emulation. The logging and modified bins can happen fairly quickly, much better than mailing chips. Depending on the circumstances, it's even possible for someone to remotely take over the PC and work it directly - even while driving if you can get 4G internet in the truck (a hotspot phone).
