    Wink Yet another N00B

Hello all, old time mech trying to learn a new trick.
    Current projects
77 Camaro with 400 crank and rods in a 305 (because everyonehas a 383 and I like to be different). GM TPI intake running a LS computer, coilon plug and fly by cable.
86 Fiero with 4.9 and four speed. 4.9 is currently beingsetup for carb, but reading this sight makes me want to go FI. I’m an absoluteNooB to tuning but getting very intrigued about all this.

Hope no one minds a lot of stupid questions!

Welcome.the fiero will be much more satisfying with the port injection set up.I currently am running a 90 4.5 bolted to rwd 5 speed that is supposed to be port injection on tbi from a truck with 7747 in an 87 s jimmy.just picked up a 92 deville and cut the front off and took ecm bcm and most of the harness and sent the rest to scrap.less space needed while I pull the motor from the cradle. Used my chip burner to read the 2240 prom and copied the spark and fuel tables to my 7427 bin and have done all the changes to that bin as per Dave w mpfi zip.I am going to be doing the 4.9 with 700r4 install and harness repin for 7427 soon.I'm am some what happy with my current tune using tbi but it's taken a lot of playing around to try and get good results.hoping for much better on the pfi set up.hope yours works out and this is the site u need for it.cheers
