I've used mine before like this on other ECM, don't remember if I ever did $42? Thouhgt I had it done but lost the settings in an upgrade... I usually have LC-1 software recording data and only use the WB for WOT tuning...
I was wondering if you had heard anything back from tech support

Yup, couple times but still have not been able to make mine work, I get readings on all three channels without anything hooked up and more on all three channels when hooked up, but more on one of three. Awaiting next response and have the autoprom hooked up to test bench.

I got all this figured out and did a writeup on it. Here's the ADX file for $42 with all three channels for AutoProm added. Channel 1 has volts and AFR set up, Channel 2 and 3 are just 0 to 5 volts.

Reviving an old thread, here. I've also got a wideband that I'd like to hook up to my Autoprom. Except I'm 7730 $A1 for v6 with an AEM. If this would be better off in its own thread I can repost or a mod can move it.

If I'm digesting this right, it sounds like I need the packet set for 63, 65 or 67 in my ADX.

    And my wideband says the 0-5v output is v * 2.375 + 7.3125 offset. I originally thought that meant X * 2.375 + 7.3125, but if the Autoprom shows 0-1024 instead of 0-5v, that should mean X * .02319 + 7.3125, right?

To get a reading of the voltage the formula is x*[5/1023]. But for a AFR formula I need to know the AFR range of the tool.
It looks like the ADC channel is 10 bit wide. That`s why it reads 0-3ff in hex or 0-1024.
The scalar in adx should be 16bit also or you will get scrambled data.

Ok I found this how-to thread that is hugely helpful: http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...=autoprom+data

My wideband's 0-5v makes things kinda difficult though. It is only accurate from 0.5-4.5v.
    http://aemelectronics.com/files/inst...line%20AFR.pdf

So of the 1024, 0-102 and 921-1024 should be ignored when figuring the 9.5 AFR difference (8.5-18 sweep), 9.5 / 819 = .01159951. So I finally got it!

I checked the table on the AEM PDF and at 2.5v the AFR is 13.25.
    1024/2 = 512
    512 * .011599 = 5.9386
    5.9386 + 7.3125 = 13.2511
Checked it vs the chart at 1.25v and it also came out right.

So for an AEM 30-5130 Analog Wideband the equation is (X * .0115991) + 7.3125.

Hopefully this can help someone in the future. Cause it definitely tripped me up.

Any good tunes for this out there? also would like to add WBO2 to control fuel trim to keep the catalyst working correctly. (yeah I know, cat wtf?) I have to keep it installed. maybe a test pipe between smogs? Oh yeah, 10.2:1 compression.

I have several good 16197427 .bin files (with WBO2) for an engine like yours. Ever think about upgrading to a 16197427 computer? It's an awesome upgrade, with a baud rate 50 times faster than the '7747! Imagine a TBI computer with the Processor Power as good as an early LT1 computer!

Dave, I should have added that I have a Dynamic EFI 7747, with the flash & multi port mod. I haven't installed the engine or the ecm yet. I plan on doing this within the next couple of months.

Do your homework, the Dynamic EFI system is capable of leading the pack! The more you know about EFI the better you can GOOOOOOO with EFI!

You will never convince me One fuel table and One spark table can ever be as good as Two fuel tables and Two spark tables.

Gearhead-efi.com supports Dynamic EFI "BAN" to publicly post Dynamic EFI files on public forms like gearhead-efi.com. Any and all Dynamic EFI files will be deleted from gearhead-efi.com.
