    I found the 3 channels in the dash value list. I dont see how to set up the value.

    I picked apu1 and changed the data type to wideband
    I changed the stock units to air fuel ratio
    the rest I dont know...got some charts in the instructions and I see lambda is talked about. Dont know what thats either. The guage has many modes like lambda, autronic, non-linear nerst cell and AFR. not sure what to do next

    I don't see any info on their website so give us the specs and we can figure it out?

    You'll probably have to have the controler set for wideband then the one wire to AutoProm will need certain specs, what are they?

    This is an AEM UEGO Controller. model 30-4100...it uses a BOScH LSU4.2 UEGO Sensor... heres a copy of the charts

    It's 0 to 5 volt. 0 being 10 AFR and 5 volt being 19.98 AFR from their info. The AutoProm takes this in and converts from 1 to 1024 bit.

    I lost my ADX with the math already done and am really pissed... So I made a bunch of changes in the $42 ADX file with 2 settings for channel one, one is for 0 to 1024 bit and one for 0 to 5 volt. But also finding conflicting info on Byte number for ALDL, so I have an email into moates and will also ask Greg to help us with math.

    Here's the ADX if Greg can find time, it has your settings for AFR from your wideband in it. Maybe he can teach us how to do the math eqautions, he's been trying to beat it in my head and I am catching on but still not confident...

    I fixed up my wiring so now im ready to try it...loaded on the new adx and opened the wideband and wideband volts values on the dash. I dont see anything happening so i moved the wire around between all 3 input channels...do not see any response even if the calcs are wrong the guage should do something right?

    when I was running $E6 this is the value I had set in my ADX. the conversion I had was (X*0.009765625)+10 but it read a little off. i don't know if that was because of the WBo2 ground not being attached to the ecu ground or the conversion was off.

    i tested the black and white with a volt meter and its definitly working...is there an order for the channels like the 1 closest to ground is #1...

    Should be ground nearest USB and 1, 2 and 3 on farthest from USB cable port.

    See you have 67 as Channel 1 but some say 65 is channel 1. Hammer change the 67 to 65 in those 2 values and try? It may have to do with 8192 Baud and 160 baud. I went through this once and lost the ADX I had it in?

    EDIT: Got this from Moates
    The APU1 will send that information as six bytes after your payload. i.e. if you have 63 bytes in your packet, 64-70 will be the ADC data.
    MSB1 LSB1 MSB2 LSB2 MSB3 LSB3
    So it is 22 for channel 1, 24 channel 2, 26 channel 3 in $42.

    Ground offset could be a difference and we really need a math lesson for conversion. In $0E it has 10 to 20 AFR as "X * 0.039063 + 10.000000".

    Hammers gauge also has a adjustment for calbrating but I don't think that would effect his output to AutoProm just the gauge, but I didn't read all the instructions.

    IIRC it also has to have switch to Emulation/AutoProm mode not passthrough.

    Also got this from Moates on eqasion if anyone is good at equations. Greg must be busy as I have been. We have had our 2 nicest days of the year, first time it has broke 60 degrees, actually broke 70 and no rain.

    xxxxxxXX (MSB) XXXXXXXX (LSB)

    MSB*256 + LSB = value

    (value /1024)
    *5 = 0->5V ADC value

    That black IIRC from your instructions needs to be grounded, to engine block not AutoProm. AutoProm needs another wire from ground to block.

    So you have a 0V to 5V that is going into the APU1. The APU1 must have an internal A-D conversion to 1024. Then we need to convert that 1024 to a usable dash value. I don't know if this is right, but this is what I would try.........

    So 0 = 10.0:1
    1024 = 20.0:1

    So.....ADX conversion is " (X * 0.009765625) + 10"
    X is the 0-1024 steps * the conversion factor, plus the 10:1 base AFR.

    EDIT: It looks like PJG1173 hit the nail on the head. I guess I missed that. And yes the reading being off slightly can be caused by a ground offset. If you knew what the ground offset was in volts, you could theoretically take up for that in the ADX conversion.

    well the guage i just grounded in cab. so i will change it tommorrow. i dont see where you change 67 to 65.

    I believe he is talking about "Packet Offset ( H / D)", the H/D stands for Hex or Dec. Change the second box (decimal) to 65 or whatever works.
