    How do I turn off

I have a 4.3 ECM number 1228062 and I want to turn off VSS and EGR and the knock sensor. I have flash chip and a chip programmer and tunnerpro downloaded. I will read the stock chip and save it. Then what do I do? Could someone mod one and send it to me to compair?

Connect the Park Switch wire to Ground to disable the need for a VSS, the computer will think the vehicle is in Park. Sometimes having the computer always thinking the vehicle is in park will cause some undesirable dive-ability problems.

Usually setting minimum temperature to enable EGR to 151 Celsius will disable the EGR. Setting minimum speed for EGR to 255 MPH will also disable the EGR.

Usually setting minimum temperature to enable Knock to 151 Celsius will disable the Knock. Setting minimum speed for Knock to 255 MPH will also disable the Knock.

The settings posted above will work.

Interestingly, not all chip files have the option to set temperatures to 151 Celsius, or MPH to 255. Usually setting one parameter to Temperature @ 151 C or MPH @ 255 is enough to disable a function like EGR. When possible I like setting two or more to parameters to disable a function (belt and suspenders programming).
