Is 146 blm at idle too rich or too lean?

I have an 89 Iroc-z that I replaced the L98 with a gmpp 350 H.O. I put in the ford 24# injectors. I used tunerpro to change the injector sizing. I was running really rich looking at the plugs but my ses light came on and threw a code 44 saying it had a lean condition. I know I need to be at 128 blms but not sure which direction to go. Thanks

    BLM's below 128 are rich.

    BLM's above 128 are lean.

Typically BLM's between 123 to 133 are OK. Typically the closer the BLM is to 128, the better the engine runs.

HINT: Lowering the injector flow from 24 lb down to 22 lb will make the computer think the injector is flowing less fuel than it actually is. When the computer thinks the injector is 22 lb not 24 lb, the computer makes the 22 lb injector work more to flow more fuel.

I've said this many times before, there are three things to know about injectors:
What an injector is rated to flow.
What an injector is actually flowing.
What injector flow is programmed into the chip.

The reality is all three injector values can and usually are different.

Ok, maybe what I posted above in quotes is confusing. Maybe the information below is less confusing.

To lower the BLM's, lower the injector flow. If the BLM's are 146, lower the injector flow from 24 lb down to 22 lb.

To increase the BLM's, increase the injector flow. If the BLM's are 108, increase the injector from 24 lb to 26 lb.
