    Just can't get communication

Hello everyone I've just started to dive in and learn how to tune. I've got a 94 Roadmaster Wagon. I've read endless posts and how-tos. I've downloaded a few bins and started getting into setting up a custom flash. I got an ALDL to USB cable from RedDevilRiver. Trying to use Tunerpro RT and EE Hack. I was told it might help if I pulled the fuse for the BCM... but I couldn't locate it. The BCM is run through the HVAC unit isn't it? Pulling the ABS would help as well? When I hook everything up I get the same error code (SERIAL: ECHO CORRUPT! (bad serial interface?))

try reinstalling the driver for the cable?

how about if you try to connect a whole bunch of times in a row, will it eventually connect?

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and manually selecting other drivers. I have let it run up to 100 errors and still no connection.

Does it connect with the engine off, key on? I had a huge problem connecting with my G30 van when running. I spent weeks trying different things and cleaning grounds. John at 1320 electronics llc was great. He swapped out the usb version of the aldl cable twice, then sent me a blue tooth version that works perfect. No fault of the cables, it was a problem with feedback on the vehicle ground we think.

At my job, the #1 rule when flashing is to put the vehicle on a charger to overcome any parasitic computers in the system, as well as any voltage drops. Even then, one has to double check powers and grounds. The battery connections must be perfect, as well as to the (+) terminal block (gm uses the starter, except when an underhood fuse box exists). I suspect I may be posting the obvious, but it still might help.
