    Question about Mask ID

Hey Guys, Was thinking the other day about after you burn a chip with the tune you have developed for your engine with the mask ID set to $AA how does leaving it as $AA effect the ECM in the long run without changing it back to the original Mask? ($OD in my case)

Leaving the Mask ID to $AA does not affect anything.

the bin checksum is a good thing, if the prom ever became corrupt, you'd be warned about it and might end up in limp mode or whatever.

how often do bins become corrupt? not very often at all.

i'd change it back eventually but wouldn't lose sleep over it
