Those of you that have a 350/383 that have a 2” TBI what are you seeing as far as counts on the IAC?
I have the TPS set at 1/2 volt..
TPS is non adjustable so is there an adjustable one to use?

On a 16 minute log...varies between 5-90.
You can make yours adjustable by elongating the holes.

Stew what are you seeing at idle in gear if you have an automatic?
It's a 350 5 speed L98 cam. Idles at 600 rpm.
I have a bored out throttle body and I get down to 0 counts both in gear (575 RPM) and out of gear (775 RPM) once the engine fully warmed up.
I'd be happy with numbers from 1-10 but I've already closed the throttle plate down a little with the adjusting screw and tweaked the throttle position sensor to give me .5 Volts at closed throttle.
Most of the TBI ECMs auto zero the TPS. Which is why they are non-adjustable. Anywhere between .4 and .8 volts works.
I shoot for 5 - 10 IAC steps on a warm engine with no other loads. This has the idle fuel being pulled from the bores and through the blades as it should be. Too many IAC steps and too much air bypasses the blades. This hinders the pulling of the fuel past the blades.
RBob.
I was going to post the 5-10 range which RBob mentioned to me a few years back. But he beat me to it here!
I haven't even been paying attention to IAC counts on my newest 355" build with the Holley TBI. Better start looking into it!
