    Taking plunge with tuning efi

Glad I found this forum! Lots of knowledge and info. Have a 95 K1500 with original engine and 4l60e that is getting tired and need to upgrade. Will be looking for help with tuning. Glad to know you guys are here as I haven’t found anyone in central Arkansas that tunes OBD1.

not trying to start any arguments, but my biggest question is which is best (easiest) tuner to start with - APU1 or ebl flash or other? My plan is to upgrade existing LO5 with 383 stroker. Looking for about 340 hp- nothing wild, no boost.
I have basic computer skills, slightly more than novice mechanical abilities and access to several teenagers with laptops. I’m not looking to take up tuning for a living, but want to be able to have some success following engine swap and maybe later for first vehicle for my youngest ( he loves the GMT 400 OBS). I know with ebl flash, I’ll have to keep PCM for trans control.

any info based on your experience is greatly appreciated!
