Ok so im new here and glad to have found this site to give me some much needed info!! Thanks!!

So i have a 96 T/A Ws6 LT1 and i have Jet DST program that i know very little about and i was just going to turn off a few switches and everything was working as it was supposed to then all the sudden about half way through a pop up says "THE PROGRAM HAS STOPPED WORKING" I have no idea why but now i can communicate with the ecm but it wont let me program it and its stuck in la la land somewhere and car wont crank or anything. Can anyone help me out and tell me what to do ????

As a last resort try removing power from car, by disconnecting battery + for 5-10 minutes.

It looks like the PCM is bricked. The eside is toast. You will have to desolder memory chip from PCM, program it with eeprom programmer and put a socket.

Yea i disconnected the battery alll day while i was at work. Well i was thinking about installing a pcm out of a 95 model because from what i read its so much easier to work with. So i guess its settled. Hard to find though ive looked online but no luck. Any suggestions ? Thanks for the reply

    ebay or junkyards.

i would usually go on ebay, and search for 16188051 (that's the spec number of the ecm you want)

then sort by price lowest to highest

here are a few right now that seem pretty reasonable:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/1994-1995-C...ValbCV&vxp=mtr

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/1994-1995-C...ZanusQ&vxp=mtr

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/LT1-L99-5-7...Raa5h9&vxp=mtr

any 1994-1995 lt1 ecm will work fine whether it's from a corvette, camaro, caprice, whatever. expect to pay a hundred bucks

once you get your ecm see the tools in my signature that'll help a lot
