Try this, all you may have to do is change the file extension.
The .HPT extension is so that a particular program will open it, and files with this extension default to this programme. So the other programme will not open a .HPT file.
I changed the file extension to .bin and read both files in a hex reader and they were the same.
    attachment.bin

Here are the pic's of the header of each file.
    pic bin.jpgpic php.jpg

Im not on my home computer but I will load these into tuner pro and save as a binary file to confirm when I get home.
You may like to try this.

    PS
you may be able to just save the file from the original programme by putting .bin on the end with SAVE AS.

    Appreciate ur input.

It`s not as easy as just changing the file extension HPT file is encrypted and compressed notice the file size its less than 512 where is the raw bin is actually a 1 mb file, there used to be a calculator conversion app floating around on da web some years back i`m sure some members still have it and i hope they help out with the conversion.

Not sure if tuner pro can load hpt files though

    Thanks

The only way is to Flash that file to an actual PCM and read it back as .BIN
If you can wait, I can do it next Thursday

That first file I posted was read in test mode with TC CAN Bus cable and was not a good file. This one was read with the TC Serial cable and opens with a hex editor.
