    7427 from k3500 (i thought) only has 4l60e pid's

I got this 7427 from a 95 1 ton chevy that had a 4l80e, Im pretty sure anyway cuz its been awhile but just now read the bin in 64k and I'm only finding 4l60e and 700r4 parameters. There is a pwm tcc parameter, I read that is how a 4l80e controls the TC lock-up and not to use this ecm on a 4l60e vehicle. I got his to use on my regal with 455 and 4l80e,this will still work wont it?? BLHH bin file

Code $31 and $OE are for the 4L80E. Code $OD and $E6 are for 4L60E.

    $31: http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...Information-31

    $OE: http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...Information-OE

Ok I read .bin in $OE and the timing table looks good. $OD and $31 have spikes. I wanted to run mpfi, will all the $OD mpfi conversion instructions work using $OE definitions? Didn't c fan control mods in $OE either, is there any?

    Thank you for you time!!

Did you say 455? Buick flavor? Please do tell...I have a Buick 455 that one day will be resurrected.

Sorry no its OLDS engine. I would have liked to have used a buick but the car had a olds 403 with headers and dual exhaust when I got it so was just easier to fit an olds big block in it plus the olds v8's have a stock roller lifter camshaft in the mid-late 80's 307. I copied a cam profile and had a guy regrind one and cost me $120. Try finding a roller cam for a buick v8!!! yes had to switch to screw in studs for rocker arms but used roller rocker so had to anyway. I may have a electronic buick v6 distrbutor, maybe u can switch the internals from a v8 to use with the 7427

Yanked the Buick V6 for the Buick 455 in a Regal. Still have the V6 tucked away in the garage and it has a electronic dizzy that I considered doing the same. It's a back burner project...would love to fuel infect it!

Fuel injection for older engines is possible with a distributor (points type) that has been modified for a GM eight pin ignition module. Check out Dave Small Body HEI: http://www.davessmallbodyheis.com/gallery

old thread, but just seen it.
you should be able to take the guts from a large cap computer controlled chevy and just transplant it to an oldsmobile hei distributor.
