Hello,

I recently purchased a project 1994 GMC Sierra 4.3 5 speed pick up. It wouldnt start and "SES" codes werent there. Actually the SES light would not come on at all. Also fuel pump was not running. Immediately I suspected a bad ECM/PCM, but went through the basics. Replace pickup coil, fuel pump had been replaced and relay is new, fuse good. Still "no start condition"
Also checked compression all good 190 - 210 on all 6 cyls.

I went to the junkyard and picked up an ECM/PCM (a rebuilt 7-7427 CalCode 0409GD) from a 1995 Chevy 4.3 automatic. My original ECM was a rebuilt 6395 Cal code 0299KM.

I installed the 7-7427 with my original EPROM and it started but ran horrible. No SES codes but the SES stayed lit constantly... NO CODES.
Then I installed the EPROM that came from the junkyard and it runs a little better but misfires. I also get a bunch of codes: 59 Trans fluid temp sensor circuit error (high voltage) , 66,67,73 which are A/C related and 82 3x Crankshaft position sensor circuit error3x .
Besides the A/C codes I assume the other codes 59 and 82 are related to the automatic tranny and an engine (1995) with Crank Sensor. Mine (1994) uses the pickup coil on the distributor and is a 5 speed manual.

1994 ECM:
Rebuilt 6395
Cal Code 0299KM
Eprom 4053 1618 1476
Delco 9358 BDXR

1995 ECM
Reuilt 7-7427
Cal code 0409GD
Eprom 5213 1618 1478
BJWS 16199938

Any one have a similar truck (1994 Sierra 4.3 5 speed) that can tell me there ECM and Eprom Numbers

Can some one shed some light?
Suggestion?

Thanks in advance
