Completely new to the game. Need a little guidance.

So im pretty confused on using the tunerpro rt with my usb aldl cable. Mainly what files i need for my truck. I have a bone stock 1994 chevy k1500 with 4l60e trans. My ecm is the 16197427 BJLF. There are so many files i find on threads thats its confusing which ones i need. According to the excel sheet my mask is $OD. What confuses me is the .xdf and the .adx im not sure which is which. Should i be using the (A218 Trans2 $0D TP5 v250.adx) and the (Advanced $0D TP5 v251.xdf)? Whats the diference between Trans1 and Trans2? What does the tp5 stand for? And finally is the v250 the version?
And is it safe to assume i need to use this .bin (BJLF 94 C-K Truck 5.7TBI 4l60e with 3.08 or 3.42 gears.bin) since i have a 3.42?

The ADX files are Data Aquition files. TP4 and TP5 are versions of tunerpro.
You should have the latest version of tunerpro , which is Version 5 (TP5).
    Download and use A217 $0D TP5 v250.adx from this thread http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...Information-0D
For the xdf file, which is the bin definition file, use the Advanced $0D TP5 v251.xdf
Use the BJLF bin file which matches your current vehicle, hopefully your good to go.

The XDF file, is the file you need to be able to view a Bin file in easy to read format. If you cant pull the bin from your own pcm in your truck, pick a $OD bin file that is the closest match to your truck. EX- Motor size, Trans, and gear ratio. And make sure if you dont live in Cali, to only use one that does not say California emissions in label.
