Hello, I'm an owner of a machine shop that makes superchargers. I have an old chevelle that I wanted to convert over, because I've screwed around with the carb for waaaay too long, and cannot get it to perform. I want the drivability that a tbi has. Thanks!
Welcome (delayed!) to the forum. TBI is very reliable but the two barrel GM units do not generally support large hp numbers. How much power is your Chevelle producing?

The current motor is the original 307, which is only rated somewhere around 130hp, maybe? I know the tbi is good to like 275, so this should more than cover it while the new supercharged motor is going together. I'm using the car as my daily driver, so this should should make it much less bothersome until the new motor goes in, which may take awhile, since I'm working on everybody else's stuff.
