    Innovate MTX-L wideband gauge video

Been meaning to upload this for a while, but just kept forgetting. But finally did. Heres a short vid of the MTX-L gauge I installed. Sorry about the glare on the gauge face, the sun was not working in my favor that day.
You can hear me floor it a couple times, I also let off and go dfco a few times, you can see it go full lean. Also when I floor it and go into PE, it doesnt drop to 12.5 right away, it takes a couple seconds. I have the delay set to zero, and the datalog dash shows PE as soon as a floor it.
Also seems to run a tiny bit rich, even though I was up to temp, in closed loop, and have a heated o2.

There close to the end, when I floor it, when I finally let off, I think I was doing about 80 Not bad for a hair over 2.5 tons of steel...lol

That is sweet. I'm jealous... can see your AutoProm on floor too!

The gauge does not look as deep as I wiuld have thought it to be, but didn't get a good side shot. It's the one with the controller in gauge right? How deep is it?

Yea its all built into the guage itself. Went out and measured and its like 2.5 in deep, plus the cables coming out of the back are kinda stiff, so mabey add another .5 for room for them.

I really like it, its very interesting to see just whats going on at all times. Plus I really wanted to get it installed before the mpfi swap.

yeah I love mine, my only complaints are it didn't come with anything to mount it in, the wires in the back are too combersome, and the serial connections are way too short. if this was mounted in an A pillar pod there would be no way to get to the serial ports. other than that though its working real well for me.

Ok I just watched your video. are you using a regular NBo2 or are you simulating NB? I noticed on your screen the nb o2 volts are doing the same as mine diping down into the double digits. have you noticed any issues with this? BTW nice laptop same one I have too

I have a heated 4 wire NBo2 hooked to the pcm. The innovate WB is only hooked to the gauge, and then the 0-5v output wire hooked to the egr pintle pin on the 7427 with the required bin mods to datalog it.
I did notice, the virtual gauge on the laptop for WB, and the gauge itself are not reading exactly the same.

I'm still a noob at most of this and dont understand what you mean.

I think he's talking about the 22. during DFCO?

Your MTX is very similar to my Lc-1 with software and setup. The output is 0 V for an AFR of 7.35 (gasoline) and 5.0V for an AFR of 22.39.

The $OE ADX is 0v= 10.0 AFR, 5v= 20.0 AFR Input on pin B16 Linear EGR Pintle Position

The MTX should also be grounded to same place as PCM grounds or at least one of them. Have to do the free air calibration. Then change outputs in Logworks software so outputs are same as ADX file.

Ahh, I bet thats it. The programming cable it came with is a serial plug type, I dont have that port on my laptop and need a usb. I guess I need to order one from them.

I was refering to the o2 volts display on your dash in tunerpro. you can watch it fluctuate between 80mv to 650mv while the wb is reading around 14-15 AFR.
my mtx read a little off too when I installed it. I had to use logworks and change the 5v output to 19.99 for it to be acurate.
