New to tuning. 92 K1500

Truck has vortec heads but other than that is bone stock. I plan on putting a cam in that's a bit more hot than the computer can handle on a stock tune but nothing the heads couldn't handle. What all do I need to begin the process and what forum links would be very useful for me?

You would need to figure out what hardware is neccesary to tune (maybe an ostrich or something for pre-94) I'm not very familiar with chip burning or piggyback

But any tuning will require a laptop, and Tunerpro RT software. On the truck you will want to install a wideband O2 for fuel monitoring and just start reading about how to tune on the web. I self taught myself over the last few years and every vehicles requirements are different in my eyes, as alot of it comes down to driver preference.

You will have guys more familiar with your year/model but these are basic things that are standard with all tuning and can get the software and definitions online free to check them out.
