Hey Everyone!
Got myself a new truck, 1990 GMC Jimmy 5.7l 700r4 with AC. I am getting ready to make some upgrades and start tuning it, but I figured I should get a baseline datalog before I do anything. The results of a drive from my office to the coffee shop and back yielded some interesting results.
Injector Duty Cycle is 300-1000%. I assume this is not normal?
BLM seems to be OK except at idle where it goes up to 147. Is this normal?
I have attached the datalog file as well as the ADX I used to this post. Please keep in mind I have not even removed the ECM yet to verify the bin code(waiting until my digikey order for socket and EEPROM's arrives). So any data you see here is based on the factory bin with zero mods.
Looking at the Injector Duty Cycle #'s I am lead to believe that I either need a new fuel pump or a new injector or both?
I would appreciate any insight anyone can offer!
