Question Looking for someone in Iowa for custom chip for 1995 K2500 with 406 small block

I've got a 1995 K2500 4L80E 8600GVW truck that originally had a 5.7L in it and I've put an old school 406 in. It runs now, but has horrible mileage and huge dead spots. Mixture is pretty good, it's mostly timing that needs adjusted. Looking for someone to burn me a custom chip (and anything else that goes along with that). I'm not interested in aftermarket EFI, nor am I interested in purchasing my own burning equipment. Looking for something that's pretty much plug-and-play.

    Thanks for your help!

That is going to be a CHALLENGING!

I use (along with several other gearhead-efi members) the information from TunerPro RT data logs to optimize TBI engine performance. Using a Wide Band O2 Sensor (WBO2) will provide the best possible TBI engine performance, see attached screen shots. The WBO2 will show where the engine is running lean and where the engine is running rich to achieve the best possible GAS MILEAGE and ENGINE PERFORMANCE!

In my many years of TBI tuning experience, an off the shelf " TBI chip" will not provide optimized TBI engine performance.

Maybe the option of installing TunerPro RT (http://www.tunerpro.net/downloadApp.htm) into a Laptop along with an ALDL Cable (http://www.aldlcable.com/products/aldlobd1u.asp) is a plan worth pursuing to optimize your SBC 400 TBI Performance? (no chip burning equipment needed) A "Tuner" will have the chip burning equipment. A "Tuner" will use the TunerPro RT data logs to correct the "Chip" for Rich / Lean fuel mixtures.

    I've always wondered:

What if that TBI Chip company used TunerPro RT to help their customers?

What if the customers of that TBI Chip company were willing to use TunerPro RT?

I know it's not going to be something "off the shelf" but I'm also sure somebody, somewhere has already done a tune similar to this. I'm not looking for tire-burning HP, more like >4MPG and better throttle response. I may splice a resistor in the MAP sensor in the meantime, but I don't want that to be my final solution.
So, if there's anybody who's already done something like this (383 w/ 292-style cam would probably work too), I'd love to employ your services to get me a chip that works.

I am also absolutely willing to datalog for a while if that helps, but what I'd like to avoid is burning a chip, datalogging for a couple days, then burning another chip, lather, rinse, repeat. However, if someone is local, I'd be more willing to try that a few times.

I like the AEM 30-4110 http://www.aemelectronics.com/produc...uego-afr-gauge A google search for "AEM 30-4110" will likely find a competitive price. Here is a link to the AEM 30-4110 instructions: http://aemelectronics.com/files/inst...GO%20Gauge.pdf

    The 30-4110 is plug-n-play because it's analog output is pre-programmed 0 volts = 10 AFR and 5 volt = 20 AFR.

I've included the WBO2 setup in this thread http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...g)-Spreadsheet
