@ Robert...
You mentioned before that you switched to $A1
I believe that is to use the DIS-system correct?
Could you tell me what cables I have to reconnect/change to use the DIS?

any of the MPFI 60V6 masks will run DIS or a distributor pretty easily, I think only 3 values need changed in the calibration. as far as wiring, I've never had to do it, all of mine have been DIS already, but it can't be more than the couple of wires that run to the ICMs. they use the same signaling scheme over 4 wires (EST, EST bypass, 3X high, 3X low) that connect to the ECM.
@ Robert
Get the engine running with the DIS yesterday.
Runs pretty good, as I just used a 3.1 VE table...
I just have no tach...
I connected the white tach wire to the pin C of the 6pin connector
tach does not responds....
Any tips are welcome...

Today I checked my connections once more, because i get code 42
First i thought it was because I disconnected the est bypass, to check if the base timing was zero.
So I disconnect the power some days ago, to reset the ecm
Yesterday I connected the power again, and it immediately showed the SES light again....
Again code 42.
could this code has something to do with the tack?

The code 42 is been solved for now, seems like another bin is working....
Now facing a next problem.....
Did a little test drive today.
my speedometer moves, but showed 5 mph at about 50 mph
In tunerpro, the speeds shows like it should be..
When I lowered the road speed constant, tunerpro shows 100mph when driving about 2mph, and the car runs to the limiter and stalls.
So I guess the interpretation of the VSS in the ECM was ok, but the wrong signal was send to the speedometer.
Anyone knows where to change this?
Tunerpro also shows a MAP value of 40 at idle... seems a little high
