    400 SBC Tune

Greetings! I wanted to get some ecm ninja's to take a look at the Bin I am running on my 400 SBC. Runs really good but I think there may be some room for improvement. Application: 1989 5.7 wiring harness and TBI (i know i know 454 TBI would probably work better but im not made of gold). High rise intake, full headers, A/C and 3 speed T350 Transmission. All stock sensors and O2. I am running a 27fs512 chip using a Burn2 programmer. Thanks!

Can you post a TunerPro RT data log, .xdl file?

I do not have a logger setup at the moment. I plan to make my own adapter for this info. Obviously with that info would come a more precise tune, I wanted to be sure obvious parameters weren't overlooked related due to the 50 extra cubes, etc. (Heated o2 btw)

Yes, the tune will be more precise. See attached data log pics.

nice, I guess I need to bust out my solder gun and attempt the home made cable..I was reading where the displacement was defined in the bin but I didnt find a reference unless it is called something completely different. I was trying to get some of the obvious snafu's.

The displacement is a calculated with the attached Base Pulse Width (BPW) spreadsheet. I tune using spreadsheets.

Checking out your spreadsheet, it looks like I need to update this value from 135 to 156?
1 pound per hour = 0.125997881 grams per second

    0.825 Cylinder Displacement
    6.6 Engine Displacement in Liters
    8 Number of Cylinders

    156.8771504 BPW = 1461.5 x (cyl vol / inj flow rate )

7.685870741 Conversion lbs /hr to grams per second
61 Injector Flow in LBS / HR

Enter Displacement, Clinders, and Injector Flow Variables

Cool. I will run this change in and see what we do. Does the injector bias value need to be changed? it is set to .40

I have a ton of resisters, but I can't find any NPN transistors that are listed for this cable, guess ill have to go to the rat shack

ok I broke down and bought that cable lol, time is money right? Is there parameters I need to adjust or set if I go to a heated 02 sensor? I get a code 13 (after going 45+ ), but the sensor is heating up and voltage is good.Could this be due to me running lean? The one wire 02 sensor didnt do this last week. Thanks again
