    Can a 2009 T43 / 6L80E TCM be safely flashed with a 2013 T43 / 6L80E TCM Flash

I'm wanting to know if it is OK to flash a 2009 Silverado T43 / 6L80E TCM with a Flash from 2013 Corvette T43 / 6L80E for Tap Shift capability. ... The 2009 Silverado engine and trans are installed in a NON-GM vehicle. ..... See attached files. ..... Thanks in advance, dave w

The truck T43 calibration that you posted looks like it is from a 2009 6L90.

The BIN file that you posted displays a Camaro VIN, but it looks like a 2013 Corvette 6L80 calibration.
Thanks for the reply. ... I'm using TC to edit / flash with. ... When I change the 2009 vette speedometer setting from corvette to RWD, the pulses per mile change but the tire circumference does not change. ... The modified 2009 vette flash does not save the RWD speedometer setting. ... I'm suspect of the VDF. ... dave w

You will brick the TCM, if you flash an incompatible OS from a different year they get corrupted even with dealer tools.

That procedure seems to work, THANKS! ... dave w
