Hi all - my name is Matt and I'm new to the forum.

I have a 1987 GMC Suburban soon to have TBI again. But it's unusual in that it's a 400 Small Block.

I've seached on many forums and asked many people about the finer points of the TBI system, getting it to work smoothly with my 400 and possibly adding a 4L80E transmission in place of the THM400 and nobody seems to know... It's like black magic to them. Plug it all in and hope it's right...

Looks like you guys really know your stuff, I've browsed through the forum already and am really amazed.

I'm also really interested in what harware and such is needed to be able to flash the gm proms...

You've got a lot going on and this is for introductions so post up a thread or 2 or? And will try to get you going. never seen a 400 in a 1987 so pretty sure it's a transplant with carb, can get the original TBI going again though...
