    Question for Dave W.

Dave: Am converting a Chev '95 350 to a 383 engine with Port Injection Manifold. Have tied the left bank and RH bank injectors into two connections along with +12 volts for the other side of the injectors. In converting a binary from throttle body injection to MPFI, setting the injector constant to a lesser value for the injectors, what other parameter(s) needs to made to the bin to make it use MPFI mode? That is, there must (guess) be two parameter for setting MPFI mode. I will use your stuff from the internet site, to set the other parameters when going from TBI to MPFI. May not understand all the parameters that need to be change, but that may beg further questions regarding individual parameters.

Dave, thanks for the quick reply. Yes the .zip file was opened. The .xls file has the parameters, yet very few of them. Can't reason how the bin file modified with these parameters is able to discern that it is now setup for MPFI. Perhaps just those parameters that need to be changed. Is it that the parameters need to be changed in the HEX file only?

The .zip was information I gathered for '7730 TPI application, that was converted to a 16197427 TPI for installing a 4L60E. ... The Memcal and PCM require modification for MPFI, details included in the .zip. There are 3 sheets in the Excel file, Scalars, Flags, and Tables. The injector parameters are NOT included in the spreadsheet, you will need to CHANGE the .bin for NEW MPFI injector parameters. Depending on the MPFI injector that is selected for the conversion, finding the correct injector parameters can become a REAL CHALLENGE! ... The HEX changes in the .zip are for Electric Fan Control ONLY. ... dave w

Dave: Again, thanks for the quick reply. Just did not look (my fault) for additional Excel file sheets. Will also pay closer attention to each of the files supplied. What is the emphasis behind injector parameters being a REAL CHALLENGE? Is that the Injector Flow Rate value? See attached.
