Thread: Anyone mind helping me set up an idle on code59?

    Ok so I played with injector offset vs battery volt and got it to take changes from 've table but nothing....absolutely nothing I have tried will get it idle below 1200 rpm except when fan comes on and it stumbles to 1000 and back. Idles between 1200 and 1400 rpm, holds 1600 rpm if car is moving with clutch in or shifting gears, at least 1600rpm or more first several seconds after start up no matter coolant temp. There's a scalar or option for 6.25? Or 3.25? Iacmotor I'm gonna go back in a bit and try that but I'm out of ideas if that's not it :~(

    Changing the 6.25ms or 3.125ms IAC option didn't change anything:-(

    If anyone has time could I get someone to look at a log or 2? I really don't know what is good info. I can read afr or Blm and the very simple things but there are many gauges like the IAC step gauge, it says 51 mostly but is that good or bad?? The spark history is always about 3-5 degrees lower than what I have set but there are other idle spark tables like negitive and positive rpm error so not sure if the lower spark on history table is correct or not. Found a (esc option selected) flag, what does that do lol?? I'm going to try that in a bit. What about latency? Do I need to do something about that? P.S. The DA data error light in tunerpro is flashing at me but no error codes are showing up? Please help :-(

    Sorry, I haven't had much time lately. Changed the bin Couple times sense latest log, that esc flag, fjo wb table needs to be set in both, the table was close under 14.8 then does not read above that, my wb has a digital display and several input/outputs, until i changed it then read to lean mostly but can still see it fluctuating.     I found a post on code59 forum by "john" labeled "some code59 and dis info" it basically says to put zero in max advance and -60 in max retard (min advance) and that seems to work. It has the bass in exhaust note and the lope in idle is back. I just burnt a chip and ran out to try it with no data logging, too cold, ran it long enough to warm up and see idle come down pretty close to 900rpm with hunting idle. I kept adding timing until I got to 42* at 37kpa and figured I need to go find whatever I'm missing cuz adding timing wasn't doing much of anything. Now idle timing is back to 20* or so, afr isn't fluctuating either so hopefully this will get me started.

    Ok I think that did it. Afr responds to table changes. Got cruise speeds in between 13.0 and 15.0, idles around 900 @ +- 14.2 soooo YAAAAAY!!! Gotta figure out wb now:-( thanks everyone!!!!!
