I used to be a CalGuy for GM in the 90's and have experience calibrating using GM's tools.
Now I'm re(tired) and have acquired an 88 Vette to play with.
There seems to be alot of info and interest in the PFI systems.

Welcome to the forum. Always good to talk with the guys that have first hand knowledge with these systems.
I think the PFI systems are likely to be around for a few more years. At the end of its run it was a fairly reliable and fun system. I'm sure folks will continue to use the 7727 to convert other engines to FI as well. It's simpler and the programming tools are less expensive than OBDII.
