Noob in need... 94 Fleetwood LT1 95 K2500 Truck Transplant

Thought I would close this post...
I finally established communication with my PCM. It has taken me forever, but life happens and my Project doesn't always make the todo list. Here are a few things that will hopefully be helpful to others. Take them for what they are worth, this is my first time at the rodeo.
I could not get this cable to work. Don't know why, checked fine in Tunerpro, just wouldn't work for me.
6pin FTDI FT232RL USB to Serial adapter modu USB TO TTL RS232 Arduino Cable M377

This adapter works fine:
FT232RL 3.3V 5.5V FTDI USB to TTL Serial Adapter Module for Arduino Mini Port



There is an excellent post about drivers at:

I rolled back the drivers per this post and they work great.

Now if I could only figure out how to tune.
