To burn chips, the Moates.net Burn2 is an affordable option:http://www.moates.net/burn2-chip-pro....html?cPath=64
The link posted for the GP1 package is a good value. I prefer the low profile chip socket, http://www.moates.net/s4-aries-28pin....html?cPath=26 which provides clearance to install the chip cover back onto the computer.

To burn your own custom chips, you can download the free PROM Chip editing software from TunerPro here: http://tunerpro.net/downloadApp.htm

The 1994 TBI V6 / V8 with 4L60E definition file and PROM Chip (.bin) files for TunerPro are located here:http://www.gearhead-efi.com/Fuel-Inj...Information-0D

With some minor changes to a 1994 5.7 liter TBI PROM chip, the 1991 350 TBI engine will work great in the Astro!

Well. I'm ordering the BURN2, 2 of the chips you recommended and the G1 adapter. How do I know what minor changes to make?

Looking at the link for the definition files and the PROM chip files, I'm not sure what to click on.

Hey, also, which O2 sensor should I use? 4.3 has 3 wires. The 5.7 has 1 wire.

Might as well stick with the heated 3 wire. It'll work fine with the 5.7.
