    52 Willys needing Fuel Injection

First post. I have a 52 Willys wagon with a Chevy 1967 Chevy 327 in it. I live in the mountains of Colorado at 8200 feet and will travel down to Denver (5280 feet) and to Utah (4000 feet). Need to convert to EFI due to all the elevations and the different fuel mixtures needed by them. I want to look into doing this on the cheap versus buying a complete system for $1,000 to $1600.

Using salvage yard TBI parts is a low cost option. The 1227747 TBI computer system is the most common and affordable fuel injection system.

The challenge for using salvage yard parts:
Finding a complete system that used the 1227747 computer.
Some of the TBI parts will need service, maybe only the injectors need cleaned?
Hopefully the sensors all work when using a salvage yard fuel injection system.
Public Libraries are a low cost source for service information and wiring schematics for a fuel injection system. Why pay $$$ for a service manual, when the same information is free at the library? I save All Data Online information from my local public library onto my "Thump Drive"

Once you get everything installed and working, usually a custom chip is needed. Maybe you want to challenge yourself with chip programming? The 1227747 chip is 4K size, compared to a 2016 model year fuel injection computer which is about 2megs in "Flash" (no chip)!

I often say there is an unwritten rule about fuel injection ... The more you know about fuel injection, the less you pay for fuel injection.
