    Wish I could find a close tune that would run it pretty decent until I have the extra cash to get the afr gauge...

    There are tons of tunes on here but I have no clue how to tell what tune is for what...

    I've decided I'm probably just gonna put an hei distributor in it and drop a carb on it... this tuning just isn't working out for me...

    No self respective tuner will want their name associated with "good enough for now". That's usually how cylinders get washed or holes get burned. Yeah, you could use it as a start tune to start tuning but that's about it. You have a very specific set of mods that will command a tune specific to them.

    You could use fuel trims to create a safe moderated load tune to be able to drive around. Then once you can get a wideband, tune WOT, enrichment..... Majority of the data can be made safe with a narrow band and proper logging.
