    New Member - 92' LT1 hotcam tune

What's up gearheadz!? I am new to the forum and could certainly use some help with my new Corvette. I just purchased a 92' Vette with the following mods:

    -GM hotcam kit
    -ported intake
    -electric water pump
    -160 Tstat
    -Shorty headers
    -Performance Chip (unknown origin)
    -**stock bore / stroke

The car is running extremely rich. I just purchased a Burn 2 and finally I am able to read the chip. My VE table looks to be high in the low speed / load range. Can anyone provide me a good starting point .bin file? Even if I could just get a hotcam VE table screen shot it would help. Also looking for a stock 92 Vette .bin.

    Any help is much appreciated.

thats typical. great first tuning project.

just drop like 10% from like 0-2000 off a stock bin. that won't even be close to ideal, but should get er in trim range and not running like crap so your ecm can tell you what to do next..

then take a ton of logs driving around in various conditions and use the ve tuning spreadsheets to get it dialed right in.

add a bunch o timing at idle too (spark advance at closed tps), id say 28 deg but some guys say as much as 32. hotcam needs it.
