introduction. 1985 chevy C10 350 TPI 1998 4l60e transmission TCI EZ-TCU controller. I'm trying to get a good VSS signal from the trans/controller to the TPI ECM.

    Welcome to the forum.

What ecm are you using exactly? Depending on which ecm, you will need a certain signal, conditioned a certain way.

The ECM is a stock GM TPI 1992. I think it ends in 730. I just bought a Dakota Digital SGI-5E that is supposed to fix this. Sounds like I have a mismatch between 4000 PPM sine and square. I don't know which is which but the engineer at Dakota Digital says this will fix it. The transmission controller outputs a 4000 PPM speedometer signal and the SGI-5 will take almost any signal and output many different signals including the proper 4000 PPM for the TPI ECM. Thanks for the response. I'll let ya know in a few days.
