I finished repinning the two ECM plugs to the red and blue ones yesterday. Dave and Mark's notes for replacing a 1227747 was mostly accurate for a 1228747. Today was joining the dark blue wire from the knock sensor to the ESC Module and the yellow/black wire from the ESC Module to the ECM, and replacing the knock sensor with a KS6 sensor for the newer TBI 350's. Moates G1 Adapter and low profile ZIF allowed use of the 27SF512 EPROM.
I started with the stock BJDR bin and updated for 383 CI, 80.5 lb/hr injectors @ 18 psi fuel pressure, and smoothed out the VE and Spark Tables. On first start, it took longer to fire but it did, then died. I have to give it a little throttle to get it to start and idle, then it is fine. Hot restart will idle fine, but if it sits for any period of time I have to give a little throttle to get it to start again. Does this mean the Crank to Run RPM value is too high? Or not enough fuel during cranking?
