My first post! I registered because it s time for me to start the project. I own a 1989 v1500 blazer 350 tbi/700r4 combo. I have a projection intake, power bowl, 1 inch spacer, long tube headers,O2 heated sensor, jacked the injector pod and shaved off the air horns. I also replace the stock fuel pump (when it failed !!!)with a vortec truck pump. thats my setup for now. I plan on swapping the engine to a 400 sbc i picked up. it's got a small cam (215/125 degrees at .050 and .477/.477 lift) , vortec heads with ls6 spings and comp retainer, edelbrock performer quadrajet intake and 454 tbi(1990 modded with 700r4 bracket) with factory spacer .I want advive for the order of things. I planned on messing with the original setup and stepping up from there. Should i install the 454 tbi with 350 injectors or just put the whole thing? or wait and do the whole swap with the 400 all at once? Any advice would be appreciated
