    Can an 8260 replace a 7727

    I read in another forum that a 7727 ecm can be replaced with a 8260 ecm is this true if so is it plug and play.

    According to this website, Yes the 16198260 is the same as 1227727: http://www.exatorq.com/ludis_obd1/p4xref.html#1227727
